The Delamar Southport

The luxury boutique hotel is part of the Delamar Hotel chain, which also has locations in Greenwich and West Hartford. The Delamar is located just a few minutes from downtown Fairfield and Westport, and offers 44 guest rooms and suites, as well as a spa and a fine dining restaurant called Artisan. The Delamar is also dog-friendly.

Weekend room rates start at around $299/night in the winter months, and $479/night in the summer season.

The hotel’s guest rooms are each uniquely decorated and offer luxurious touches like Frette linens, plush bathrobes, and Molton Brown bath products. Some of the rooms also have fireplaces, balconies, or soaking tubs.

The Delamar is housed in a historic 1890s mansion that has been beautifully restored and renovated. It offers a range of on-site amenities, including a fitness center, a spa, and a restaurant. The Artisan Restaurant is a local hotspot, especially during the summer season when the large patio is open. The menu offers a fresh take on Old New England-style cuisine, has a wine list featuring over 300 bottles. The hotel also has a cozy library with a fireplace and a comfortable lounge area.

The Delamar Southport Hotel is located in the heart of Southport’s historic district, and sits across the street from the Gray Goose Cafe, one of Fairfield’s best restaurants, as well as The Equinox gym and fitness center. It’s also within walking distance to shops and the train to New York City, and a short drive to Westport shopping. It’s about a 10-minute drive to Fairfield University, and 15 minutes to Sacred Heart.

The Circle Hotel Fairfield

If you’re looking for a blend of style and value, check out The Circle Hotel. From the outside, The Circle Hotel Fairfield looks like a simple motel, but in reality it’s a quaint, coastal-inspired boutique hotel. The Circle is located on the busting Post Road in downtown Fairfield, close to I-95, and offers 80 newly-renovated king and double rooms, along with a number of studios and suites. Room rates start at around $145/ night.

Hotel rooms and clean and updated, and decorated in a fitting coastal theme. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Amenities include a small fitness center and business center, as well as an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a grassy lawn, the only of the hotels in Fairfield, CT with a pool. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar called Hub & Spoke.

The Circle Hotel is conveniently located to the Fairfield Beach area (and within walking distance to Jennings Beach) as well as to Fairfield University.

The Inn at Fairfield Beach / Dune (Coming May 2023)

As the name implies, The Inn at Fairfield Beach is located directly across the street from the beach (the area’s Lighthouse Point), as well as a short walk to variety of public beach access points. The hotel is also less than a mile from restaurants and shopping on the Post Road, and sits adjacent to the Sea Grape Bar & Restaurant.

In January 2023, the Inn at Fairfield Beach closed for a total renovation, and will reopen in May 2023 as Dune.

The original Fairfield Beach Hotel offered complimentary wi-fi and private beach access. It was also pet-friendly, but the Dune may have different policies and accommodations. Rooms at the Inn start at around $149/night.

The Hi-Ho Hotel

If you’re looking for cheap hotels in Fairfield, CT, but still want something with style, the Hi-Ho Motel is the spot. This retro-style motel is an updated take on the classic roadside accommodation, and rates start around $100/night.

Located just off of the Merritt Parkway, the Hi-Ho offers affordable, comfortable rooms and a convenient location near shopping, dining, and area universities including Sacred Heart University, Fairfield University, and the University of Bridgeport.
